We all want a happy and balanced life where we can fulfill our dreams and understand ourselves. I remember when I wanted to make some changes in my life, it was very difficult to think where to start. But when I gradually made small changes, I realized that it is more effective to divide any big goal into small steps. Today, I tell you about those small things that brought a big change in my life and which can be helpful for you too.
1. Set SMART goals

Initially, I did not know whether I should keep my goals big or small, but then I learned that small and achievable goals are more helpful. When I divide the work into smaller parts, I feel that I am able to do something big. Even a small goal every day leads to big success, and this has increased my motivation a lot.
2. Adopt a healthy routine

It is important to start the day on the right note. I have realised that a good start to the morning sets the mood for the whole day. Now, my morning starts with a healthy breakfast instead of tea, light exercise, and meditation. Earlier I did not get time to do all this, but now that I have made it a habit, I feel more energetic and focused.
3. Use your time wisely
It was quite challenging to use time properly, but now I have learned how to manage it. Dividing any work into pieces and doing it in small parts has now become my habit. For example, if I have to do a big task, then I look at it as a small task of 5 minutes, which makes the work seem easier.

4. Prioritize self-care

Taking care of yourself is just as important as everything else. I never understood that unless we prioritize ourselves, we can’t do anything for anyone else. Now, when I’m tired or feel like something is taking over, I take time to relax myself – whether it’s taking a warm bath or reading a book.
5. Stay away from negativity
We often surround ourselves with negative thoughts. I have seen this change in myself that whenever I feel that my thoughts are becoming negative, I remind myself that it is just a thought, and I have the power to change it. Keeping yourself and your thoughts positive is a very important step.

6. Rest ahead of time

There should be some time to pause and rest in between work. I remember, earlier I did not rest at all, but now I have decided that I will definitely take out some time for myself every week. Whether it is a small vacation, or just sitting at home and watching a favorite movie – all these small joys refresh me.
7. Spend time in positive relationships


To create a good atmosphere in your life, it is important to give time to your relationships. I have realized that if you spend more time with your friends, family, and people who love you, you feel better about yourself. I always get support by connecting with such relationships, which means a lot to me.
This journey never ends. By loving yourself every day, improving your habits, and setting small goals, we can make our lives balanced and happy. Even a small change in life can have a huge impact. So, just remember this, understand and love yourself. Life is a beautiful journey, learn how to live it!
